How does this translate into bandwidth? I get about 10k a month which is a gigs worth. Vast majority is crawlers and people with my rss feed in their browser/mail client.

I think it averages out at about 300MB a month. Maybe you should deny the crawlers in robots.txt ?
I do, or I did in the autumn, I’ll put my stats up on cle.
